Beth and Mark had this beautiful stone staircase built but they were having difficulty finding a railing that would fit. They reached out and asked us to make them something that would fit perfect, be rigid and bring a sense of elegance and style to the front of their house. Like normal, we engaged in our typical design process, of sharing online photos of examples to narrow down their design tastes, and then followed that with some hand sketches.
We quickly settled on a concept and began fabrication of the custom railing that accounted for the curvature as well as the long slope of the stairs. The final piece was anchored by core drilling holes in the cement and setting the posts in hydraulic cement. This type of job is what we consider to be very typical of our work.
